If you are from LP or the surrounding area, it's either the Chris's Special or the Chili Cheese Fries. The food is as good as it was the first time I tried it in high school. Much has changed in the area, but this place hasn't. It can get pretty packed here, but it's because all the regulars who are locals keep coming back. Damn good food here.

Chris's is just one of those staple hometown spots. If you've lived in La Puente or any surrounding area or know anyone from here they'll definitely recommend you going to chris's burgers. This place has been a local charbroiled burger staple for as long as I can remember. They have great charbroiled burgers done up the classic way with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and a spread. I always upgrade my combo to chili cheese fries instead of regular because they're sooo good!! the onion rings and zucchini fries here are good too. If you go during lunch, dinner, or late night on a weekend except a long line!

Man what can I say I'm a la puente resident and been going here for YEARS chili cheese fries are my go too! The service is very fast paste they have a lot of customers they are never rude just working fast The location of the spot is perfect it's down the street from my house so when I get home my food is still fresh.

if you're a local you would know! very affordable and worth for its value -- ordered chili fries, western bacon cheeseburger, and a pastrami sandwich. i wish there were cheese or more cheese on the fries though! yummy

A great classic diner burger experience. I wish I had known about this place when I was younger because I would've enjoyed a chili burger sooner. It is with a heavy heart that I am now hundreds of miles away to snatch a fine chili burger. I will miss the tantalizing aroma of the sizzling burgers and the crunch of their addictive zucchini fries, dipped in ranch of course!

This burger joint is so good! Thee food is always fresh and the service is behind fast. It's very affordable and makes me want to keep coming back! I only ever take it to to, but there are some seats to sit indoor and outdoor.

Ok Yelpers and Foodies alike... the verdict is in. After a lengthy deliberation The Hungry Hardhat has awarded the best pastrami sandwich to.... Chris's Burger!!! Definitely blows The Hat out of the water for several reasons. 1. The pastrami is not over salted. 2. The meat is lean and tender. 3. Sandwich is better prepared. The fries and onion rings are very good and HOT. Are they better than The Hat probably not. The Hungry Hardhat has placed Chris's Burger on my 5 Star Platinum List of must places to try when in the SGV. So let it be written... So let it be EATEN!!!
